De-Thatching Verti-Mower for Renovating and Grooming.

Renovating:

• Removes thatch from the top surface and sub surface.
• Relieves compaction.
• Removes surface sponginess.
• Aerates.

• Improves Water and Nutrient penetration to the roots.

Grooming:

• The use of thin blades and narrower spacers enables light grooming with little disturbance to the surface.
• Removes thatch during the growing season.
• Deters fungus growth.
• Control pace and speed of the surface.

Features:

• Self Propelled: From both rear wheels provides a constant ground speed. The self propelled rear wheels provide the force required to hod the cutting blades at a constant depth through varying soil densities. Removes an even amount of thatch assisting in even surfaces.
• Catcher: Cleans as the scarifier moves along. Catcher may be removed and the rear flap lowered to spread thatch evenly. Particularly good for light grooming.
• Manoeuvrability: Engineered weight distribution with large turf tyres on the front and rear allow this large scarifier to be manoeuvred with minimal effort. The weight distribution and large tyres eliminates any trouble with leaving indentations or tracks on quality surfaces.
• Depth Control: The depth screw allows infinite settings up to 40mm below the surface.
• Blades: With or without tungsten tips. Depends on the need to fully renovate or lightly groom the surface. The size of the spacers between the blades hence, the number of blades, will also determine the affect on the surface. Spacer widths are 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm wide. Blades are 0.8mm or 1.6mm thick. An optional second shaft with an alternate set of blades and spacers provides versatility for switching between renovating and grooming.
• Drive and Cutter Engagement: Clutch levers are released to lower the blades into the surface and to engage the ground drive. Disengaging allows catcher emptying and scarifier turning at the end of a run.
